You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Fiberglass Supply Depot Wax Additive 4 oz creates a tack-free surface when mixed into Gelcoat or polyester resin for a smooth sandable finish for easy polishing
Designed for marine and fiberglass projects, this surfacing agent can improve the final appearance of boat molds, repairs, and molded parts by delivering a tack-free surface that polishes to a professional sheen. By migrating to the surface during cure, the wax forms a barrier that helps seal out oxygen, supporting a consistent cure and a smooth, sandable finish.
Usage notes and typical dosing are provided to help you achieve reliable results in a variety of conditions. Typical mix ratio is approximately 4 oz per gallon of gelcoat, with adjustments for thinner or thicker formulations, and for weather or cure speed. The MEKP catalyst is still required; this additive does not replace hardener and should be counted in your resin formulation. Apply the wax only to the final gelcoat layer or final resin coat to avoid bonding issues with underlying layers. Do not use in laminating or build-up coats, as the wax barrier can prevent a strong chemical bond. After cure, the surface is ready for sanding, polishing, and cosmetic finishing on marine, fiberglass, or composite parts.
