Akfix 805 Gap Filler Expanding Foam Sealant offers moisture-curing polyurethane foam with straw adapter for easy gaps filling around windows and doors, 2x12 Oz.

Akfix 805 PU Foam is a single-component, moisture-curing and self-expanding aerosol sealant designed for easy dispensing through the straw adapter included with each can. It cures in 3–5 minutes and reaches a full cure after about 24 hours. The cured foam dries rigid and can be trimmed or shaped, enabling clean finishes around gaps, windows, doors, and wall penetrations. The product is water-proof and paintable over once cured, and UL certified for safety and quality.

Common usage includes window and door frames, big gaps, joints, cavities, electrical outlets, water pipes, and penetrations in walls. It adheres to most building materials, with exceptions such as polyethylene, teflon, silicone, and surfaces contaminated with oils or greases, mold release agents, and similar materials.

For safe use, wear protective gloves safety glasses and protective clothing during the process. After application, cure times should be observed; 3–5 minutes to initial set and 24 hours for full cure. Once cured, the foam is rigid and can be trimmed, shaped and sanded to finish.
